In this workshop you will understand the power of language and the impact on biology as it relates to your choices to respond versus react in any given business situation. You'll explore the questions: What is the power of language? What impact does biology have on how I communicate? How do words impact me, my leadership team, my board, my direct reports, my organization? What's the difference between responding vs reacting?

We will enable you to build stronger relationships through open, honest and candid communication at all 4 levels throughout your organization, with vendors, and with your clients. You'll explore: How does honesty create a stronger connection? What are the 4 different levels of communication? What internal and external conversations do I need to have?
Shift Your Mindset from 'Me' to 'Us'
You will shift your mindset from an inward, fear-based conversation between self and other, to an outwardly facing, business focused mindset to move the business forward. You'll explore: Why is a mindset shift important and how does it happen? How can I become more business focused in my communications? What makes the shift long lasting?
Curriculum Outline
Our workshops are all action and very little talk. Applied behavioral science supports the saying, "Repetition is the Mother of Skill" and is what makes change sustainable — so we believe for every 1 hour of knowledge there should be 4 hours of practice.
Here's how it will go:

20-minutes of online pre-work that provides you the materials and fundamental concepts you will be applying.

Facilitated interactive practicum — online or face to face.

Post event online survey and report. We assess 4 things: Knowledge learned, applied, and its impact on the people and the business.
